A police dog in the UK in full attack mode needs more than the command “release” to get it off their ‘victim’ (as it were). The point of having a dog with the ability to do what these dogs do is that it taps deep into their prey drive, it can be difficult to get it to release, no matter how well trained.

I’m gonna mostly acgree with Pack. I did notice that the dog yielded after the police guy hit him on the nose. Sometimes these things happen; the dog might’ve been on the defensive (being grabbed and such/) These dogs are great (= * D)

not the dog i would wanna **** with…. but i think u all know if ur not pathtic that thay are teach’d to attack arms, if it wear a real attack dog like magnum (a friends dog) he is learnd to attack ur throat.. i wanna see u beat that of, cuz hitting there nose aint the easiest thing while is rips and drag and you are in full panic, so ur argument rather sux if u say “its just to hit there nose” attack dogs are fucking brutal.
It’s easy to fight back the dogs…the problem is that the cops go too fast, so if they were real thieves they wouldn’t have time to fight the dog and run.
Dog’s snout are extremely sensitive so a good strong punch there can leave dogs crying their ***** off if not even KO…then a shot would solve the problem for the thief xD

Clair3924 thats wrong! On the show “send in the dog” showing action like this in real life in the UK the Police dog WAS being dragged off and pulling the person. Not just one dog aswell, several different ones with diff handlers. The dog does release but its very wild whilst on atttack mode and will do a bit of damage! Awesome dogs. This is a Belgian Shephard I believe tho not german. Lovely dogs aswell

:45 the ****** bag handler puts his hand in the dogs face when he is still in aggressive mode – - then because of his OWN stupidity punches the dog in the face to get him to release him.
I wish the dog would have torn his fucking arm off.

i’ve owend two german shepherds now, and they we’re both very strong, when i play fought them, i’d still lose, they know when to stop if u train them right, these dogs are just so highly sprung, when there released they just lose it, thats why the handler got bitten. the dog had’t had enough….. scary dogs
